Battery production and cathode material production are two completely different manufacturing processes. At Bamo Technology, we are exclusively engaged in the production of cathode materials.
From a manufacturing perspective, two types of materials are mixed together, which then pass through an electric furnace. The resulting cathode material is not classified as a hazardous substance. One of the raw materials is a mixture of nickel, manganese, and cobalt (a homogeneous metal oxide) – which arrives in Hungary already in mixed form – the other raw material is lithium salt, for the transportation and storage of which we pay special attention during use.
We pay special attention to protecting the environment, the local soil, water, and air. The materials are used in a closed-loop, safe environment. The factory will be equipped with the most modern safety systems, filters, and protective equipment.
Our goal is to operate in compliance with the applicable Hungarian laws – which are significantly stricter than European ones – and operational regulations. We apply the world’s most advanced and modern manufacturing technology, which guarantees that there is no real risk in cathode material production.
