At Bamo Technology – as a member of the Huayou Cobalt Group, founded in 2002 – we have been engaged in cathode material production for over 20 years. As the first step in entering the European market, our company is building a factory in Hungary, specifically in the Ács region, based on cutting-edge technology and environmentally conscious thinking over the coming years.
Advanced process design, carbon-neutral production technology, and an environmentally conscious mindset will enable green, sustainable, and high-quality manufacturing, which may begin in 2026.
The environmentally friendly, high-nickel-content cathode materials produced here will be used by leading battery manufacturers worldwide, including for BMW and Volkswagen electric vehicles.
The company is committed to creating added value for the residents of Ács and its surroundings, in addition to high standards of quality and environmental protection. We will significantly contribute to the region’s economic and social development by creating around 900 new jobs.
